What makes Snuggle Pup Care different from other dog walkers and pet sitter services?
Snuggle Pup Care is a family run business who takes pride in ensuring our clients are completely happy with their pet’s care. We do not “nickle and dime” our clients – we don’t charge fees for last minute cancellations, changes, or additions. We don’t limit the kinds of services you can schedule based on time frame or previous visits in the day; without penalty, our clients can schedule a 15-minute visit at 9:00 PM for feeding and a quick walk without previous services having been scheduled earlier that day.
What kinds of animals would you care for?
We care for dogs, cats, reptiles (even snakes!), small animals (rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, etc.), fish, and chickens. At this time, we do not provide services for horses, goats, and other similar farm animals.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes! We are fully insured and bonded to protect our clients! This protects our clients in the event that one of our sitters are liable for an accident that has occurred while caring for your pets. We also carry a dishonesty bond, which protects you from loss in the event that something is stolen from your home. Any pet sitting or dog walking service you use should carry both liability insurance and bonding to ensure you are fully protected.
What does the pet CPR and first aid certification cover, and who has been certified in your company?
All our sitters are certified is pet CPR and first aid through the American Red Cross. Topics include techniques for both dogs and cats with CPR, choking, bleeding, vomiting/diarrhea, toxins, and other emergency care and aid.
Do I meet the walker/sitters before service?
Yes! We try to have you meet anyone who could be caring for your pets and home before the first service at the consultation. Generally, four sitters will attend the consultation: Cassandra, the owner, and what is likely to be your primary, secondary, and tertiary sitters. In the event that none of your sitters are available and an alternate needs to be assigned, we will notify you for permission beforehand.
Does the same sitter come at every visit?
Not usually, though we try. Given the volume of clients and expanded territories we serve, we generally schedule sitters based on time and location, but exceptions can be made occasionally. With cats and reactive dogs, we typically keep the primary sitter consistent with one back up sitter in case the primary in unavailable.
Do you offer boarding?
No, we are not currently boarding pets without our homes. We believe that pets feel more comfortable and secure in their own homes.
When is payment due? Is there a refund or cancellation policy?
Payments are due by the first day of service on our secure portal. We accept Paypal and cash (for 5% off your invoice total), as well as all major credit cards. In the event that services need to be cancelled, we will credit your account for future visits. Credit never expires.
Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?
Our whole business is based on your satisfaction! We will do our very best to care for your pets in the manner that your specify, every time. If you are not 100% satisfied with the service that was provided, we will be happy to address your concerns. We believe in creating a bond and lasting relationships with our clients, and your satisfaction is key to everything our business stands for.
